Beach Bum!

Beach bums is exatly what we were this past week!

We got all packed up Saturday and headed out just before lunch. I regret not getting a picture of us in Kyle's truck. We had the bed loaded down plus the canoe strapped to the top! We were surely a sight. When we got there the weather was PERFECT, we headed straight for the beach!

We had wonderful weather all week and spent hours on the beach every day! I don't even know the last time I was so lazy at the beach! Kyle and my Dad got up early almost every morning to go fishing...they weren't as successful as they had hoped to be, but they had a blast and it was great bonding time for them!

We had a great house right on the beach with just a private board walk to get there. It was so nice being this close and not having to worry about fighting a crowd. We really wished we had taken Maci! She would have had so much fun and would have been able to run free on the beach and play in the ocean. We know now for next time that she must come with us!

I loved getting to spend a whole week with my family! I don't even know the last time I was able to do this. It was so wonderful to just be able to relax and hang out together!



Since Mollie has her license now we are trying to plan some time for her to come stay with Kyle and I this summer!

We are now back to "real life" and hussle and bussle but the beach was so amazing and just what we were needing!
